Since a lot of questions come up quite often, here’s an FAQ page to answer some of ‘em!
I’m in a gigging band – can we play to your tracks live?
Yes, no problem.
If you want the tracks for live gigs, let me know and I’ll include the right count-ins and space at the end to allow you to skip to the next track when you’re ready. I’ll also make sure your tracks are mixed to sound best on a PA system.
Do you record covers?
Yep and I have a pretty hefty back catalogue which I sell for a reduced rate. I offer discounts for covers bands looking to get a whole set recorded so please get in touch.
Do you record percussion?
Yes, I’ve got a bunch of shakers, tambourines, cowbells and bongos. Best to get in touch if you’re after some percussion. (Please note: I no longer have the concert xylophone shown in one of my videos)
Can you join my band?
Sorry, I’m not looking to join any more bands! Judging by the amount of bands asking this, there must be a pretty serious drummer shortage at the moment. If you want to attract the best drummers to your band you’ll need a demo with proper drums showing them how much fun it will be in your band. I can help you with this!
How long will it take to get my drum tracks?
I can normally get something back to you within a few days of receiving your song. As to how long it will take to get the final tracks, it really depends how many changes are needed. A good guide is a week, though if I’m touring or have a big backlog it could be longer. I will always let you know how long the track will take before I start recording and if you’re on a tight timescale let me know and I’ll always do my best to accomodate you.
